Fresh pasta gives a surprising amount of flavor and texture to even the simplest of dishes. In this class, you will learn the simple art of making fresh pasta, including rolling out their dough, hand-cranking pasta, and shaping techniques to make fettucini and ravioli. The class also covers a variety of fillings with accompanying sauces; for example, classic tomato, pancetta & spring peas, sage & cream, and brown butter & rosemary.
All classes start with a brief lesson on cutting and knife skills before going into a demo and hands-on cooking.
Everything is provided, including uniforms, recipes, kitchen tools, and ingredients. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are required. Please, no jewelry or heavily scented perfume.
